The genre-bending California outfit's new collection backs vibrant vignettes with carefully etched narratives. “I thought 'lover and a fighter' was such a great phrase to embody this song and the record,” lead singer and songwriter Colleen Duffy says. “It shows women being strong, sticking together and not taking any shit, but also rewarding men for being decent. If the title track was a film it would probably be Faster Pussycat Kill Kill. I thought trying to write my own version of a female anthem like Joan Jett's 'Cherry Bomb' would be really fun and empowering.”

This project is the duo’s most collaborative project to date with ten collaborations highlighting Cleveland’s richly diverse music scene. Flowers shines lyrically over a variety of vibes produced by Red-I’s combination of deep experimental grooves and golden era bounce. Columbus hip-hop legend, J. Rawls, makes a guest appearance with his production on the reggae-infused track called “Pick Your Weapon”.

This is their debut S/T album and was recorded by Paul Maccarrone to 2-inch tape in Cleveland 2016. The songs are fast, danceable and retain the noisey and aggressive feel of their live shows. The record was cut at 45rpm for loudness and low-end but Nat's vocals still cut through like a knife and the lyrics twist it once it's inside. A must listen for fans of Cleveland punk."
